Description
Ranchi is a service that reduces food packaging waste by implementing a deposit system of lunchboxes between restaurants and customers. The app allows customers to locate participating restaurants, order food and collect points for every lunchbox they return. The system encourages encourages people to reduce waste and promotes sustainable practices.

Currently, buying takeout meals leads to using various packaging materials that must fulfill certain standards for insulation and stability, which creates a substantial amount of waste. Some restaurants find environmentally friendly alternatives too costly or not suitable for their needs and even sustainable options may not always be entirely eco-friendly.
