The smartpen for healthy handwriting
Description
Only 40% of elementary school students in Germany can write legibly for more than 30 minutes without experiencing discomfort, cramps or fatigue in their hands, which is due to their lack of fine motor skills. Eli is a smartpen designed to promote healthy writing posture in elementary school children. With it´s ergonomic design that enhances the dynamic tripod grip position and multiple sensors, the pen is able to collect data about the child's writing behavior during use.

Measured data such as average writing time, pressure regulation and changes in pen posture can be viewed in the associated app. Additionally, the app features handwriting heroes who guide and motivate children to optimize their handwriting in various tasks.
